    I can see why some want to have gear listed in their signatures, but I want to put on a filter on my email that deletes emails with the phrase; "Sent from my iPhone". Like who gives a sh*t.

    Actually ... my wife loves her iphone signature because it alerts her customers that she's not in the office. Sometimes she only has time to answer with a one line answer instead of a more complex answer they'd get in an email. Seeing the iphone signature they understand she's out and about and busy and understand, and don't expect too much. So for her business, the signature is handy and useful.

    All I say is personalize it. Like:
    1. This email is from my office leash
    2. I'm out, but I'm here for you
    3. Replying to you from the road
