Wait...so how do I add myself?
Follow the link to the page ... zoom into your location ... hit the edit button next to Collaborate ... and then drag the blue upside down teardrop to your location.
The "drag a blue button" can be a little tricky. You actually just click on the blue button which let's your cursor "pick it up". Then you move to your location and click to put it down. If you put it in the wrong spot you can then do a regular drag operation (press mouse button down to hold while you move the blue button and release the mouse button when you get it where you want it).
After you are all done don't forget to Save your changes.
Actually, the Titanic sank in the water, I live on land
Seriously, though, you are correct. The Titanic was not far off the coast when it sank. Halifax is the final resting place for almost 300 of the Titanic's unlucky souls.
SwissAir Flight 111 also occurred "just around the corner" in nearby Peggy's Cove.
And then there is the infamous Halifax explosion. The largest man-made accidental explosion before the creation of nuclear weapons. Dishes fell of cupboard shelves some 60 miles away in Truro.
Between Halifax and the where the Titanic ship sank is Sable Island...if I could ever get back there with a camera I would be in heaven!!!! All shots I got are horrible.. :(
I really enjoyed Halifax. I was there for a couple of months and it is one of my top tens in Canada.
This is very cool and I'll jump on this just as soon as I cross more stuff off the list. (Damn list keeps gettin' bigger )

Yes, and just a reminder that, although you are all welcome to go play with the test map I set up, be aware that when Marko sets up the official one the test map will be deleted and we'll all have to do it again.
