Seems the thread was closed somehow or for some reason. Being a mod I didn't realize as it lets me post in closed threads if I want. Thanks for the heads up on that QuietOne, here I was thinking if no one was going to bother commenting I wasn't going to bother posting.

Well now that I can,(), I will say once again. I cannot believe the adventure that this family has been on. Can only imagine what it is like. I keep coming back and looking through this whole thread from start to finish and it still amazes me. Love the underwater pics MA.
Again, thanks for sharing all the memories with all of us.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

As long as it isn't swimming with sharks! It does sound like they're having a wonderful time.

Well ... they did at one stage. They have a photo of one swimming in the shallows too.

I love the underwater pictures! Do you have a special camera for it now or just the special case for it?

I do quite a bit of snorkeling in Mexico and I must say it's nice to see a clean reef. I've had the opportunity a couple of times and they can be spectacular. The photos from the underwater disposable cameras don't do them justice and the housings for the point and shoots aren't a whole lot better. You really have to see it for yourself so if you get the opportunity, take it.

I think Graeme and Mandy are using a waterproof point and shoot ... like the Olympus, Canon and Panasonic models.

Didn't notice the thread being closed but I did miss the last couple of updates... just went through them now. Awesome images! I didn't know they had camels in Australia. Some of those shots were awesome! Please don't stop sharing, it's a wonderful journey. I can't imagine doing it myself but it looks like an amazing time and what a fantastic experience.
