Default Hunting The Elusive Lady Slipper

Went on the prowl today for lady slippers. I remembered seeing some a couple of years back in Dartmouth and though that would be a good place to get started so I headed over on the hunt.

I started down the gravel path on a beautiful afternoon...

I proceeded to sneak up on it

And lucky you, finding a pink lady slipper. We have yellow ones and white ones in Alberta, have not seen a pink one yet. Stunning

    Nice captures!

Funny I shot lady slippers today as well but unlike you I didn't set out to shoot them I stumbled on them in the middle of Down town Bridgewater.
If you like my images I am very happy but please don’t nominate them.

After having seen the ones Bambi took last week I had to head to Shubie Park here in Dartmouth where I knew I would find some.

Hehehe. Don't feel bad. Got to go for a wonderful walk in the woods on a nice day. I haven't seen any other lady slippers in the city though I would imagine these are not the only ones in the area.
