    Default Lady Slippers

I took the dogs on their walk in the woods so I could go looking for these elusive flowers. I believe that they are in the Orchid family. They are protected and you are not allowed to disturb them in any way so I was very very careful.

For the first time I saw a white one:

I couldn't get any closer without walking on others:

    more traditionally they are pink:

    Wonderful lucky shots, Bambi!

And cool to know now, that the name can be translated 1:1 in english. We call it here "Frauenschuh" = Lady Slippers" :-).

They are protected and you are not allowed to disturb them in any way
That's the same here - they are protected strictly.

Nice. A guy I shoot with from time to time found a white one, too. How funny.

Nice. I've been meaning to go find some and you beat me to it! Very nice images and the last two are my favourites.
