I Love Backlighting!

A quick walk around the botanical gardens yesterday morning in the early light yielded these below.

It's a Redis Leavis Hugous I think

Ok ... I ran and asked my wife and she says "Yes ... it's a Poinsettia"

What a wonderful set, MA.

I really like how you themed them by having them all backlit. Did you challenge yourself that day or did you just end up with a bunch like this in the set?

Iggy ... I've been to the botanical gardens before on a nice overcast spring day and took loads of shots in great light with little shadow.

So this day I decided that I would mostly look for backlit opportunities so it was quite purposeful. I did get flowers not backlit as well so I'll show them when I can.

Also was standing under a large python when I took that 1st shot in this set and didn't know it until Leanne pointed it out to me. He was close enough that I had to back away to get my lens to focus
