    Default Big Sur

These are a little closer to the coast than the others, it's still hilly, but different. Less arid, fewer trees, more wildflowers. And of course the ocean.

The bright sun was a little challenging, but I think it works with the scenery. It was also windy as hell, but that kept it from being too hot. Anyway...I'm still working on more...beach and ocean stuff and the Big Sur river.

That first shot with the moon is especially appealing.

thanks guys. I'm really surprised with the moon photo since I'm not very adept with the lens I used - the legacy 65-200. It is a sharp lens, I have other shots that prove it, but a lot of what I get is soft despite my best efforts. More practice is needed. Or I should just carry my 180mm f2.8 and be done with it. : )

Here's one looking down to the headland where that last one with the yellow flowers & the ocean was shot.
