Surprising what the lawnmower misses. Found these beauties this afternoon. Killed some time photographing them.

Canadian Dwarf Cinquefoil (OM 90mm macro)

Unknown tiny flower, looks like miniature mint or basil, but I have no idea what it is. The flower itself is disconnected from its base and upside down. The whole plant is about 1 inch high. (OM 90mm macro + 25mm extension tube)

Anyway...kind of a lazy day today with threatening T-storms, so I stayed close. Maybe tomorrow I'll head out to the larger world.

I just found out what that one is, MA, it's corn speedwell, a member of the snap dragon family. Photographed some that were blooming today, still processing. I love tiny, nearly invisible stuff.

Amazing. Doesn't look much like a Snap Dragon. At least not like the ones we put on our fingers as kids.

Beautiful pics with a nice DOF. Really like the Speedwell, (Veronica), pic a lot. (Just hate them in my pasture).
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

hey thanks guys. sorry about your pasture, HBG. I don't mind them in the lawn. Here's one from today -
