    Default Liking The New "Toy"

Well, got my new 100 F2.8L IS Macro and got off a few quick shots tonight. As you can see, still awaiting most plants to bloom yet. Can't wait to try it out on some "real" macro shots up close and personal. So far, initially, I am liking it.

    Crabapple just about ready

American Chestnut, also ready to burst open.

Wild strawberries will be coming on soon. MMMMMM!!!

And this is just one of the bamboo starting to sprout.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I agree. Those others are nice too but that last one has some punch with that narrow dof and colours in the bokeh.

    Thanks JAS, MA, and MM.
Yes I also like the last, best. The others just messin' 'round to check sharpness of lens, and I think it will pass. No PP done on any of them, straight out of camera, Jpegs only.

Always nice to have a new toy and I'm lovin' all the macro shots... I really like macro shots!

Great shots! I have this lens and most of the time it gets used for portraits, but I'm trying to get some good macro's as well but they're not happening yet.
