BC Stinky Flowers
These flowers are called Skunk Cabbage. The name pretty well says it all. These where taken last year because I didn't like the ones just taken as much. Sometime the light just doesn't work out.

cool - do they only grow in what appears to be a bog or wetlands?

They are usually the first to appear and your right in very wet areas. After the flowers die back the leaves can grow to about 3-4 feet. This is in an area called the interior rain forest. Gale
