Dead or not, these are some great images. Nice work.
First one is especially nice IMO. Very clear and nice use of Silver Efex I'm guessing. Art quality for sure. Dead or not, it's alive...

Mike...I actually used Viveza on this one. I got good detail in it using the flash then brought up the detail in Viveza.

To me a good photographer can take advantage of almost any subject around her. Take yesterday for example, the bunch of guys I was with left a really rich location early. From talking to one of them it was because they only perceived the meetup as a scouting mission with an idea of coming back when things green up. Fine and dandy, but you've dragged your frigging view camera for a mile already...use the thing (yeah, he brings a 6x6 into the woods on a tripod). Eh...I know there are different styles, but when I've taken the trouble to go out and explore an area I try to be as immersive as I can and find something worthy.
