    Default Sundown at Great Bay

So I spent a day at the coast and wound up at a favorite spot on our inner coast. Trouble was I had only one battery (doh!) and it starting to die. Had to conserve for sunset since I hoped to get a good one. So I didn't take a lot of photos, but here's two I like taken while the sun was on its way down.

I like the warm light and the contrast between it and the somewhat harsh landscape. The bay is an estuary and the difference between high and low tide is great. It's also eroding in a pretty interesting way.

    Thanks for looking.

That tree looks like it has days left to live at best!

yeah, the way the bank is eroding, lots of trees have already died. In a few thousand years, the whole of Adams Point will probably be gone. The entire beach in the other shot disappears under water at high tide.
