Great image. Seems I'm not "Fortunate" as I do envy you.

It does however bring to mind a question.
When using blend programs what order do you use? Panoramic then HDR or use HDR then Panoramic? Same with focus blends. And at what point 32bit, 16bit or 8bit.

I like road or river to right it seems to draw ones eye to mountains in distance. I am very much a beginner but to my eye great.

Eric...I use Photomerge in PSE7. I then ran it through Lightroom for some clarity and cropping.

This is a 3 image pano....glad you like it.

I have found Panoramic rather hit and miss. 12 images from light microscope of section through twig combined A1 (both directions) yet tried same with sixpence piece and total failure. I had hoped to combine different focal lengths again with microscope total failure. But with D-SLR worked A1. Same with HDR some images you can see improvement others far better using RAW file centre of three.

So I was studying your picture with great interest. Had one of Abbey kick myself now for not making notes. Could not get back far enough so used Panoramic and HDR and one attempt has step on hills behind other worked out great and not a clue what was different?

I wonder if it is the XMP files which are generated when one opens and corrects RAW files and maybe this was change between the two!

Love the effect but studying for an exam and so worried about unpredictable results. So bending everyone's ear to try and learn as much as I can in next three weeks.

Never heard of PSE7. I had Photoshop 5 and then 7 and now I am using CS4 odd since loading CS4 I have gained some features on old version 7 like contact sheet II. But only CS4 seems to have the blend options.

See your using Pentax as I do. Only problem I have is on manual focus lens focus ring can move between bracketed exposures and getting dirt on CCD. But otherwise great. The bracket mode when using inferred remote needs three separate presses of shutter release. OK when using wired or direct. Mine is K10D.

PSE7 = Photoshop elements 7... photoshop "light" so to speak. I don't know a lot about Panos...Greg Nuspel knows far more than I do so he might be the person whose brain you might like to pick!

I use a Pentax K200D and like it very much... a bit touchy on the shutter release at times (especially under cold conditions like the last 3 days at Banff) but other than that 'm happy with it.
