Default Clear Day Brings the Rockies Near

It's almost as if you could walk to them, but they're actually around 50 km. away. Lovely clear day with a few overhanging clouds. I'm not satisfied with the exposure: I wished the far away points were sharper. Shot at f9.9 and 1/400th, 105 mm. Perhaps a tripod?

The exposure isn't bad. Just needs that blue hue dampened a little I reckon. You could sharpen those mountain selectively using layers and layer masks.

    Nice shot.

I find a polarizer helps a lot to define moutaintops and bring them out of the mist.

South edge of Tsuu T'ina reserve off 37th Street South in a farmer's field. Favorite spot of mine, but there is often haze and fog.
