I have to admit, when I first looked at this photo for last months Photo Assignment I wasn't all that struck by it given the company I'm in. Maybe I was being a bit too fussy?![]()

Russ...I like this shot...I think it would have been excellent for last month's assignment!...so yes I think you were being too fussy!The monthly photo assignments are supposed to (as I understand it) challenge you ,your creativity and keep you inspired...it's not a competition in any way shape or form (as I understand it) so I don't think you should ever feel intimidated to post.

Well, I don't think you did a bad job at all. Why I asked was if you weren't happy with it, as we all are with some photos..could you reshoot?
I must of shot the same thing 100x before I finally got one I liked.
And as stated, the monthly assignment is just for that!

no, can't reshoot. The site is a 140 miles away and that rig is long since finished that hole, just happened upon it and shot what I could, when I could. It was nearly -40 C (no wind chill) and I from what I could see on the camera's LCD it looked better than it turned out to be.
