Only a Month Late...

I have to admit, when I first looked at this photo for last months Photo Assignment I wasn't all that struck by it given the company I'm in. Maybe I was being a bit too fussy?

Russ...I like this shot...I think it would have been excellent for last month's assignment!...so yes I think you were being too fussy! The monthly photo assignments are supposed to (as I understand it) challenge you ,your creativity and keep you inspired...it's not a competition in any way shape or form (as I understand it) so I don't think you should ever feel intimidated to post.

Russ, if you are still learning the techniques needed for the monthly assignments then you are the person most likely to benefit the most from doing it and participating.

Well, I don't think you did a bad job at all. Why I asked was if you weren't happy with it, as we all are with some photos..could you reshoot?

I must of shot the same thing 100x before I finally got one I liked.

no, can't reshoot. The site is a 140 miles away and that rig is long since finished that hole, just happened upon it and shot what I could, when I could. It was nearly -40 C (no wind chill) and I from what I could see on the camera's LCD it looked better than it turned out to be.
