    some of the shots from my visit to Monument Valley, AZ, in June of 2008... some shot with the 40D and 17-35, some with a 30D and 24-135... the panoramic is sized to print at 12x36...

    thanks, everyone!

    photos seldom give you the sense of scale of the place... those buttes are huge! most are between 500 and 900 feet tall, rising abruptly from the flat desert floor. it's really quite something to see in person. these shots of The Mittens were taken from almost a mile away...
