So here is my first photo for the forum, it has been raining pretty hard out here for the past few days (what else is new) So all the rivers are raging. This is hand held for 1/2 a second (don't have a tripod yet)
C&C welcome

Oh Well done!
I like the colour and the sense of movement here. The detail on the rocks is great too. I would recommend cropping out that rock on the left OR showing more of it. right now as it is, it's just a distraction. But that's a picky point.

Thanks for the comments, I agree about the rock on the left I would like to show more of it but there is a tree branch there that is really distracting.
those dang tree branches!!!in that case just crop the rock out!

Hi Scotty,
Normally we don't critique at all or just give a point or two when shots are posted in the "show" forums. For fuller critiques, which facilitates learning but does 'put yourself out there a bit', the critique forum is better.
I just wanted to addSince you do not have a tripod I would doubt this was shot with a stabalizing lens...and so...you have really steady hands dude! This is hand held for 1/2 a second

Ok, thanks for the rules Marko. It was shot with a Nikon kit lens (18-55) that does have VR but even so it was hard to get a shot without some shake in it.
Well done - I like the soft water around the sharp rock.
