I took a photo when I was down in Woy Woy near Sydney earlier this year of similar looking formations ... but these were salt not ice. These ice ones look very cool.
Youyr ice ones are much more interesting though

This is a cool view and a nice shot but I'm SO with bambi on this...
As long as there is a safe way down...I'd try to get much closer for some close-ups.
