A painter takes their vision and makes it a reality. A photographer takes reality and makes it their vision.
Very beautiful. Are the picture in HD? The water looks almost surreal.
Thanks all...Foots I HDR'd all of these to get the low light of the forest and the highlight of the sun.

She has used HDR Merge to create these ... I can see a few trademark faults she hasn't processed out
But if the 'veiled' water is what you are attracted to, you might want to add an ND8 filter (neutral density filter number 8) to your arsenal when you purchase that Rebel and the lenses Foots. This filter allows you to slow the shutter speed down to get this effect during brighter times of the day instead of waiting until it's darker if you don't have one.
I also like the colors in these frames. My question is how soft do you go with the flow of the water? I have this discussion all the time with my wife who likes to see some defined patterns to the water in a faster speed while I like the looks of the slower speeds to get this silky look. I end up meeting her mid stream (pun) and get a combination of both.
