Thanks...I've had this thing for five years or so now, bought it at a yard sale in Victoria for a buck. Every year at this time it gives forth great blooms of purple and red, doesn't eat much either

I have one too but I have neglected it a bit too much in the past year so I only got one flower. They love being neglected but i guess to a point...lol. I think mine is so root bound I will have to break the pot to get the thing out and I don't think there is any more soil in it. What happens when you don't change the pot for 10 years...lol!

Pictures of flowers are my favorite. This is an amazing shot I really like the colours with the dark background. How did you do the background? Photoshop?
