It's interesting yes how the balance of nature works. There was a guy with a noisy leaflower off my deck the other day so I went out and watched him work. He was blowing all the leaves from around the base of small and large trees alike in an area where only trees grew, no grass, no flowers. I thought at the time,"I bet mother nature has a reason to drop those leaves at the base of those trees, Food, nourishment of some sort. But we know best and the leaves were herded into plastic bags and hauled away! What was I thinking! Monsanto knows what those trees need! And that dear Casil, is what this shot evoked in me

    Nicely spotted Casil.

They have to clean up the leaves Michael ... we wouldn't want all those nasty leaves making everything all natural looking now would we??

Sad part of it is all those decomposing, biodegradable, naturally fertilizing leaves he picked up are put inot a non-decomposing, biodegradable plastic bags and hauled to the landfill when they could have been made into compost, fed the tree, saved him a few $$ in fertilizer and been broken down naturally by next spring.
