Very cool! I especially like the log cabin window as well.

Greg has printed the exact words I was going to use... Casil you do GREAT photos. Congratulations.
I'm liking several of these Casil The standout for me are the ole 'Two Ton' and the last one of the old building with the danger sign. Great composition there.
Thanks again MA
A couple more from the day:
A scene on my friend's section of the farm...not sure exactly how many sections are on it but it's pretty big!
A highway sign on a very long and straight rural road...I imagine people go alot faster than 80k on here at times:
Another angle of an old barn/house:

Thanks for sharing these shots with us Casil. I have to say after seeing all these wonderful photos that I'm inspired to go shooting. I think I finally understand the power of having a "project" to work on. I realize that we've only seen a small portion of the almost 1,000 shots but if all you got out of the day were the ones we have seen you should consider yourself fortunate for they are a wonderful collection.
It's a great way to pressure yourself to extend your thinking Iggy. I often give little projects to people I'm trying to teach for this reason.
It's the reason Marko wants the monthly challenge to only contain photos taken in that month ... it makes you purposely go out and take a shot that's interesting and fits the monthly theme. It's a mini project to learn by with the added advantage of being able to see, and be inspired by, other peoples efforts as well.
I agree...having projects..specific ones make you focus on the details such as compostition, lighting, perpspective etc...at least that's what I've found in doing this past weekend project and my daily weekend adventures at fish creek also.
My only issue is lack of a vehicle which means I have to be especially creative at times because I have to keep within the confines of my travel ability.
I am flattered that my shots inspire you enough to go out and start something of your own and I wish you all the best in finding cool stuff and interesting ways to shoot them!
