The treatment gives it a Bela Lugosi/Alfred Hitchcock feel. Very cool. Good Halloween shot.

These composites are very interesting to me!
Hope it's okay to ask; Is this one made of 2 frames plus a texture?

I like these as 'images' ... they are no longer 'photos' to me. But that said ... I still think they are cool

    Default P over P

Hey Iguanasan, Mad, raiven, kat, and Marko. Thanks for all the replies.
Like Mad said, possibly no longer photos. I call my style Artography!
Marko, sure it's ok to ask. As far as I can recall only 2 combined photos. I basically CHEAT and do virtually all my processing using only two apps + Photoshop. The two apps are Color Efex Pro 3.0 and Silver Efex Pro. The best editing apps I have ever used. Don't tell anyone but the POLAROID filter is the one I use most to give that faded green type of tone and also to create fast simple ragged borders. I think there are FREE 30 day trials , but don't quote me.
Hope this info is useful. Have a great day - jimmy

Thanks for sharing JJJ - Both programs you mentioned are ones that I'd like to try one of these days...
In a sentence or 2 could you just say what those 2 apps give you that photoshop itself does not provide. Is it simply speed and ease of use.
    many thanks.

Btw - this particular image looks VERY similar to traditional alternative darkroom work that use multiple images. The scratching is also very traditional as an alternative technique. So this digital work, to my eye looks actually looks very similar if not identical to past photographic processes.

So for me, once again the line between "mixed media" or "artography" is totally blurry for this image.

Photography is more than just taking a picture and freezing the action, or leaving the shutter open. It is more than orchestrating the image with the stroke of a brush. Its the realization and explanation that reality is an isolated experience in which only a specific individual can comprehend during any given time period. - Your Truly!

    Default Artography !

Hey Marco and jjeling. Color Efex Pro 3.0 and Silver Efex Pro eliminate the time ,drudgery and difficult learning curve required when using Photoshop. Being creative is just simplified and the fun factor really increases!. Speed and eases of use is just part of it. Many of my photos are completed in 5 to 20 minutes using the shortcuts provided by these two great apps. Hope this helps - jimmy
