The Red Trees

    I'd love to introduce you all to these bright red trees ... but tough cause I haven't a damn clue what the hell are!!

    Those are great. I especially like the fouth one with the trees lined up. Crazy wild colors you have there M.A.

    I like them all for different reasons. The looking up from the ground perspective is really interesting. Nice shots, MA.

    The Illawarra Flame Tree (Brachychiton acerifolius), is a large tree native to subtropical regions on the east coast of Australia. It is famous for the bright red bell-shaped flowers that often cover the whole tree when it is leafless. Along with other members of the Brachychiton genus, it is commonly referred to as a Kurrajong.

    Are you sure? Flame Trees were my first guess but none of the photos I looked at looked like them at all. Their flowers were much more open. But your description sounds right.
