I know this is not a critique thread, Iguanasan, but if you don't mind . . . I think the DOF is actually too shallow in these shots, and that more of the mushies should be in focus. Cheers.

It's a rare day when I mind constructive criticism! Thanks and honestly, I think you are right. I find that I tend to go with a wide open aperture when I'm that close to my subject (going for the bokeh) and then regret it later :( Maybe I'll pay closer attention next time.
