    Default Louisbourg shoreline.

Another fine day at my favorite shoreline. It's only an hour's drive from where I live. Just waiting on some stormy weather so I can get out again for some surf. Water looks dark due to a straight drop off from the cliffs. It's VERY deep there and when the waves crash it drives air into the water to make the most glorious colors. You have to be an agile rock-hopper around this area.

Nice. I like this sort of coastal shots as many here are aware.

Have you used a polarizer on this one? I'm guessing that for the colour gradient I see.

MA . . . I'm thinking I "may" have used the polarizer here that morning. I had a couple of ND filters there too and might have had one or two of them on instead. The light here is fantastic in the morning as it shines in from the left side of the photo and will normally enhance the blue skies over to the west behind the lighthouse even without filters. I should be making notes of these when I do them, but I'm too busy running from rock to cliffside . . . and if I go in, there's nobody to fish me out.
