Very pretty photo!
I'm finding this one a bit dark Iggy, but SO much potential in a spot like that.

i love, love, love the greens in this! a tooch too dark, but with a bit of pp you can make it happen!
Hmmm. 2 of the 3 monitors I have handy show the photo at just the right brightness for me. The third shows what I think you and Marko see which is rather dark. Darker than I would like. Which monitor is "right"? This is the problem I have with calibrating a monitor. Sure it's calibrated, but what the heck is everyone else using? - More thinking to do on this.
In the meantime, thanks for all the great comments!
It's dark for me also on a calibrated monitor but only just and this isn't the critique section so I didn't mention it. I like dark quite often. I like making the viewer have to look into the photo.
I say process them with a calibrated monitor ... no point creating less than properly processed images. Marko has provided a brightness strip at the bottom of this forum and everyone here should at least try to set their brightness so they can see every gradient from 255 - 0. That way we'll still be no where near the same but in the ball park ... sort of ... hopefully.
On my screen it seems dark on the left side and the sky a bit blown out. Love the scenery!!!!
What is the strip for? How do we use it?

The strip is part of a brightness calibration you do yourself. In theory you should be able to see all the little boxes along the bottom of the strip from 255 - 0 if your brightness/constrast is good. Some monitors are not quite good enough to allow this perfectly though.
So, you set your brightness/constrast to allow you to see as many of the boxes as possible.
If your brightness is too bright (apparently the most common setting on uncalibrated monitors) then you won't see all the white boxes. Vice versa for dark of course.
