Look at some of the gulls here; some are outlines, others are black, and a few are white shadows. The photo itself isn't worth much but I got a kick out of how it rendered the gulls.

What are you talking about Greg? That's a VERY cool image! I like it a lot!
I've had gulls turn out like too, caused, of course, due to their movement because of the several exposures used to get the image and the way the HDR Merge process rendered them.
I reckon clone out the see through gulls and you've got a great shot there man!
Very moody and dreamy
I like it too. The "Ghostly Gulls" are cool, but I also think it would be worth trying a version with the Gulls "bought back to life".
