Default If it's Pink, it's Vancouver

I live in Vancouver for 3 years and a half, and is the first summer with a pink sky. I don't know if it's something regular here, or not, or maybe I've notice the sky this summer, just because I am more into photography.
Some sunsets was so amazing, so beautiful colors, magical.
Here couple of samples from last 2 evenings.

Those are great Lovin...might have something to do with the smoke in the air. usually that's what causes sunsets like this...beauty!

They are wonderful. I've noticed just the right amount of cloud in the place relative to the sun and the horizon with give spectacular and different coloured sunsets. Smoke will have the same effect.
I have been thinking lately that photography makes you more observant. I often notice thinkgs because I'm thinking it would make a wonderful photo and when I mention them to other they didn't even see it. Yet if I mention it to another photographer, they usually did notice it.

I like these, especially the second one!
To my eye though, at least in these shots and especially the second, the predominant colour is orange.

I remember that night. It was a great sunset, I loved how the clouds were being swept. I wanted to grab some shots but I was headed to the Drive In with my girl and didn't have my camera with me at the time.
