I love the composition of the first one but the sharpness of the second one.

I like #2 better too. Maybe for different reasons. I like the sharpness, yes, but I also like the contrast with the green leaves in the background.

I don't really have a preference on landscape or protrait. Just wanted to say great shots. Love the colours and the detail.
