I've been focusing on portraiture lately, so I decided to take my camera outdoors for a change.
I'm not sure what exactly works about this picture (if anything!) but I like it

For this image I think it could work a filter that gives you the paint impression, a preset in Photoshop, Lightroom or Aperture, or in what software do you use.

Awww ... and I wanted to say something nice for the first shot I've seen of yours too CLP ... but I'm afraid nothing appeals in that one. Sorry about that.
Hey ... I was just thinking ... if it was a watercolour effect you were looking for ... then it's brilliant!
I'm on my laptop here which is average, but I like parts of this image big time. It has an Asian feel and I find the leaves very pleasing.

I am jumping on the bandwagon of liking this capture. It's high key but soft as well.
perhaps a very dumb question but would this be a shot that the orton would work on?
