The Maumee River is known as the premiere walleye fishery in the world. Millions upon millions swim into the river to spawn. It happens right as winter cracks. The first really nice day with somewhat normal water levels produces a feeding frenzy that is unmatched. Today kicked the season off. It was almost 70F here today. The water levels are going down and warming up. They were mostly locals today, but in the next few weeks we will have thousands of people lined up in the river fishing from all around the world. I stayed on the banks and talked to everyone while taking pictures. Would have been out there fishing instead of taking pictures, but I havent bought my license yet.
On a side note, Im trying a new resizing method to try and retain some image sharpness for you guys. Let me know if it works. If not then it is definitely the attachment uploader on the site.
