I've always wanted to photograph lightning. I live in northwestern British Columbia, and lightning storms are rather rare here. If we do get them, they are just a few flashes and its all over. Last month we had a few days of storms, and I finally had my chance to get out and give it ago. I managed to catch a few strikes that I was happy with!
These were shot late in the evening, with a pretty glorious sunset at my back. The lighting and the colour of the clouds was amazing. These were shot in Terrace BC at the Old Skeena Bridge. Keeping the rain off my lenses was challenging.
