The fishing hole

I actually took this one with my p.o.s. iPhone 4 over Labor Day weekend, at the fishing pond next door to our mountain house in very upstate PA. I used snapseed to edit, with an emphasis on the HDR button, as the dynamic range on that camera phone stinks to high heaven! I really only attempted to get just the sunset and the trees, and didn't even expect to capture anything else....

Asnow, I can't remember who I heard it from, but "the best camera is the one you have with you." While I prefer to shoot with my canon, sometimes I don't carry it with me, because I didn't have any intention to photograph. Those are usually the times I need it the most!
