We were way out west (further west than we've ever been before) on an all day drive home after being away for the Easter break when we noticed the sky starting to look a little odd to the west of us. After a couple of hours it had built up and was bearing down on us, ripping up the topsoil as it came. It sounded like sandpaper hitting the car. For the next 3 hours we drove in it's wake to home, the storm now stretching from way out there all the way to the coast. Was interesting to see it form, travel across the country, and then actually see it heading out to sea as well.
