Some Flowers from Kauai

Got the tripod and the macro lens out (no, not the Nikon 105, the Sigma 150 - much sharper ); now that I learned to manually focus using the live view, this has been quite a macro trip for me.

Starting with a "Bird of Paradise", but this time the "Lobster Claw" variety



Then to the "Prickly Pear"







And another "Bird of Paradise"



How about a "Golden Shrimp Plant"?



And last but not least some Aloe Vera

You could cut yourself on these they are so sharp. Super colour too.
