Sitting on top of one of the mountains and just staring at the layers is almost hypnotic. I can do it for hours!

Beautiful set! I was just in the pigeon forge/gatlinburg/sevierville area on a family vacation, and I wish I got out more on my own for the sole purpose of creating images like these....

Those are where we avoid as much as possible! Luckily we live on the peaceful side of the Smokies as well as the more beautiful side. Hope you did at least get away from the crowds and get into the park though.
