    Default The Moon

A couple of quick shots I did last night - wanted to see how the lens did with it. Hand held, cropped maybe 30%. Anyone besides me thinking of getting shots of the blood moon Tuesday? (Assuming the clouds clear and I'm not asleep on my feet by the time it happens!)

These worked well. I look forward to seeing your shots from Tuesday. The timing isnt the best for me here and will to too low in the sky.

Also if you are keen for long exposures I understand there are some meteor showers coming next week too.

Nice shots! I too can't wait for Tuesday..The Weather Network says variably cloudy, so I'm variably optomistic. Lyrid meteor shower coming up Apr 16-25 with the peak being before dawn on Apr 22

    Nicely detailed. Well done QuietOne.

Thanks, all. By this point I can tell you the weather didn't cooperate. I'll upload a few shots in a moment, but at best they prove that I was awake for the event.
