    I liked the Mini-Mart; was going to buy some candy there, but alas, sign said: do not enter, private. I wonder if I was an officer, or a corporal, and not a private, could I enter then?

    Nicely done on both Matt, but really like that Mini-mart, along with the witty narrative.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

    I too like the Mini Mart.
    "do not enter, private" - rank does have it benefits.
