I took these 2 shots at different times of the day (about 2-3 hours apart). The first shot down the left side of the lake while the second is shot toward the right side of the lake. I do like the second one better

I took these 2 shots at different times of the day (about 2-3 hours apart). The first shot down the left side of the lake while the second is shot toward the right side of the lake. I do like the second one better
By far #2 is the better image. #1 seems soft and anything of interest in the image is out of focus. The water has a strange color to it (could just be reflection of the sky). IMO, this is just an image of dirty concrete.
#2 is great because of the crossing shadows of the steps going up and down and the shadows of the trees. I really like the light rays coming from the right.

#2 for me as well, for sure. Real cool image.

Another vote for #2 here as well. The lighting really adds to the atmosphere.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
