    Default It's What's For Lunch

A couple of weeks ago I was getting ready for a job in Wilmington, NC and decided to have one last homemade meal before leaving. I got this shot of a Savoy Cabbage, the last one in the garden, just before placing it in a black iron skillet with carrots and potatoes. Ummmm. Good…and good for you.

Love the vibrant colour and the super sharp detail here. The water is just such a nice bonus that adds so much to this shot. Very nicely executed BF.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!

I 'preciate that, HBG. I wish now that I had dragged my mess out to the garden and got a shot or two when they were in their prime. I only had ten of them planted and this one was the last of them. The last few had undergone a couple of hard freezes and began to lose most of the purple they had when younger. The water drops were a result of a very heavy morning fog that burned off mid-day and the shot was made just before cutting it from it's stalk to carry inside for lunch.

Thanks, Marko. Hard for me to take the credit for nature's work, though.
