Default The Sun, The Moon and The River

I wouldn't be a real Calgarian if I didn't post some flood pictures, and you can see in all of these how high the river was, even a few days after the crest. I planned to shoot the supermoon from a location on the river in a park area known as The Weaselhead above our dam some time ago, and then the flood came. I was able to get into the site wearing long pants, rubber boots and a bottle of mosquito spray, but some people just went in barefoot. They weren't carrying camera equipment.

Also love that moon, bisected with the cloud. Hope you and your family weren't affected too much by the floods.

Amazing amount of water. You can feel the power in the bridge shot. I too like the moonshot.

Like the sunset in 1 and the moon in 2. (beautiful landscapes)
Also like the the photo journalistic aspect of 4 in showing how much flooding there was.
