    Default Hopewell Rocks

Visited the Hopewell Rocks (near Moncton) this morning at low tide when you can walk out amongst the rocks. At high tide the bottom of the rocks are covered in water. This location, Fundy Bay has the highest tides in the world. I've posted a couple examples of the flower pot rocks. I will post some more after I get home. Some pics may require HDR.

The eroded rocks with trees on them I like a lot. We have an island around here that's like that but not nearly as tall. Very impressive rock formations.

Great shots! It is amazing to see what thousands of years of erosion can do to millions of years old rocks! Amazing!
Keep an eye on that 'Tools of the Trade' project thread in the assignments forum...I try to add new pictures often!

Nicely done ASnow, and really like that second image.

Both shots are well done and show a very interesting subject. I like the first one because the people really promote the scale of the rock.

Thanks. HBG, Brad. These were done quickly on a laptop during the trip as a sample. More to come and hopefully better processed now that I'm home.
