    Default Autumnal Colour

We have just had our warmest Autumn on record (I was still picking tomatoes last week). The problem with this is that the trees forgot they were supposed to drop their leaves. Finally this week they have realised it is Winter and have started Autumn a bit late. I headed out this weekend to catch it before it disappeared.

Beautiful colors. I love autumn. I like your perspective in #1. Feels really strange for people in the northern hemisphere to have these pictures around this time of the years. It is probably quite normal for you.

These are cool. I'd love to see some macros or closer shots. Really like the last one, great window shot and reflection.

Thanks guys. I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I always find it interesting to see which shots other people prefer.

It is what it is, and yes it is what we are used to. I think the biggest difference is around Christmas time. I recall last year HBG showing a thermometer at something like minus 40 C and we were having a plus 43 C day.

Very vivid, and very nice light. Number 2 sort of reminds me of the movie, "What Dreams May Come."

Thanks Realist. It was the dappled light that attracted me to the second shot (although it took a while for the woman to move into it). I actually tried a HDR version of this, but the colours were just too punchy and I rejected.

I am not familiar with that movie and will have to check it out.

They're all really nice, but I like the second one best.

I love the second shot and the last shot! Both are beautiful!

Also, I must admit, when I read the thread title, I thought, " hmmm, autumnal color in June? He must have found some old shots from last year..."
But then I remembered that these interwebs are capable of connecting the whole world!
