This is my first ever post on the site. I'm not sure if there's a specific image size I should be using?
That size is pretty good. If your image goes over 250 kb or something like that it starts to compress.

I love all the angles, as Realist mentioned, they lead your eye nicely.

I like the image and the rope lines. Both the left side and the right side are quite bright though and this brightness takes away from the boats imo. Therefore, I'd darken both sides.

Thanks for the suggestion Marko, I darkened the sides and I think it draws your eyes to the ships more with this change
