LOVE this stuff...I'm still attempting to capture comet Panstarrs, but between weather and busy schedules.....no luck yet. I love the composition of your shot. Almost makes me dizzy!

For those who want to try this, yes, you need total darkness. I've done this at home. Even if I live at the edge to the metro area, the orange glow of the city is always there after a long exposure.
If you are interested in the exposure details, this was ISO 200, f/5 on a 10 mm wide angle lens. This particular shot was done at the BC interior; specifically Shuswap lake about 150 Km away from Kamloops which is the biggest population around. Very peaceful place.
