Pololu Valley

There is a road on the West side of the island that just stops dead. Good thing, too, cause there is a lovely valley below. here are some images from this valley, starting with the rather treacherous path down. Lemme tell you, walking down was much more strenuous that coming back up, whoever would have thunk it ...



Oh, and here is a view from the lookout point ...



If you did not know any better, you would think you are in Ireland at the cliffs of Mohar ... in the distance you can actually spot some waterfalls ...

Hmm, Marko, I don`t think so. I straightened it in camera raw .. must be an optical illusion .... it does give the impression, however, the water line is straight ... lol

Very much like our coastline in many places. That second shot is a lot like the area I'm in now and where I came from in Qld. That last one is very much like the Southern coastline ...where I'm headed.
