    I very much like the lines here - For me though...I like to see something sharp, even a smidgeon of sharpness.
    Was this intentional? Or were you slightly too close to the flower because you encroached on the minimum focusing distance?

    Thank you for your comments Marko. I took this with an extension tube and a 70-300 lens. The DOF was terribly shallow. I focused on the foreground petal edges. Then I added some softness in Lightroom to exaggerate the effect. I can see it was probably too much for the taste of some viewers; others may like it.....

    Really love the comp on this but agree, would love to see an edge nice and sharp here.
    Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
