The second one is interesting, with the blue behind showing through the wholes. Love the colors and the detail on the leaf.
Very interesting shots, and really like that second one. The holes really add to this shot, and as QO stated, that background colour works very well to show off the exquisite detail you have captured.
Reality is a nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there!
Cool shots. I like the pattern on the first one which is the fruit. The leaves are quite interesting too.
Has anyone ever tried the fruit? They used to grow wild back home. They are quite delicious, but have to be eaten when completely ripe otherwise they make your tongue feel like you have eaten a cactus. Usually the fruit ripens from the tip and you can eat a couple of inches a day. So it takes a week to eat the whole thing.

"You have to milk the cow quite a lot, and get plenty of milk to get a little cheese." Henri Cartier-Bresson from The Decisive Moment.
Boy, wouldn't it be cool to have an insect on the back side poking its head through one of those holes and looking into the lens?
Good work.
WOW. Very interesting patterns, especially the second one.
