    Default Where the Fairies Play

Processed with Distressed FX ( thanks Jewell) and Pixlormatic

Well I was hoping to wake up and see a new D800 and tons of photography gear under the Christmas tree. When that didn’t happen I got out my iPad and began playing with my favorite new app called DistressedFX. It made me realize that big fancy camera isn’t what really counts. We are really just limited by our imaginations and vision. I’m not saying everyone will consider this pic a real photo or even art , but I do and I had fun creating it. Use the gear you have and get out there and have some photographic fun. Merry Christmas to all ☼ – jimmy

Nicely done, it does have a fantasy feel to it.

So it's mixed media. It's still a fun photo. The leaves stand out nicely. BTW, where the heck have you been?

I've been thinking the same thing. Hope everything has been OK with you Jimmy. As for the picture, this is another creative JJJ image. I like the title, it definitely looks like fantasy land.
Maybe that D800 will get delivered by the easter bunny. In the meantime the iPad and the DistressedFX app are working very well.

Well QuietOne and asnow all is OK. I just cannot find the time to post! I'm getting old and slow I guess. But as Arnold says "I'll be back" Oh, I was only kidding about the D800. Those files are way tooooo big for me. If I have learned one thing over the last view years it's that it's not the camera but the vision that counts. I am happy to shoot with the D7000 and feel lucky to have one. Thanks for your nice comments - jimmy
